Dr. Mark Zimmerman is a copy of Voyager's EMH-turned-CMO.
Where he was once considered blunt and rude (a characteristic which condemned the
Alpha Quadrant's contingient of EMH Mark I's to the
humiliating task of scrubbing plasma conduits), he has
evolved to become the epitome of bedside manner. · Pursues
hobbies with a passion, and - typical
of artificial intelligences - tends to go overboard. ·
Despite his interactive expertise, Zimmerman retains a cynical
POV, as well as a somewhat sarcastic bite to his humor. · Those who
don't know the doctor well enough may still find his tone somewhat abrasive at times. But
underneath, he has a simulated heart of gold.
He is keeping his Photonic nature a secret to avoid racial discrimination.
